“I’ve got Parkinson’s and I wish to Christ he would take it back”.
It’s very likely that you’ve been influenced by some of the expert advice that Billy Connolly has dispensed over the years. For example, we all know that “before you judge a man, walk a mile in his shoes. After that who cares? He’s a mile away and you’ve got his shoes”. The Big Yin also taught us that “there are two seasons in Scotland: June and Winter”. How right he is.
In 2013, the 73-year-old was diagnosed with prostate cancer and Parkinson’s disease on the same day, which obviously limited the amount of public appearances that the wonderfully gifted comedian has been able to make.
We were absolutely delighted to see that Connolly was well enough to make a rare appearance at the GQ Awards where he accepted his accolade as the Inspiration of the Year Award.
Take a look as he starts his speech by saying “it’s very moving to stand here before you having won…this fucking thing”. It gets even better.
It’s wonderful to see that despite his ill health, Connolly still has maintained his amazing sense of humor and ability to entertain.
Patrick Stewart & Ian McKellen are well known BFF’s (best friends for life for those of you who decided to forget their teen years in a far away place) and they just love showing it each time they meet up!
Taking a relaxed pic with a beer in each hand, visiting national monuments together, dressing up as lobsters, or even just chilling out with Elmo, these guys just know how to stay awesome.
The thing is, quite a lot of people have “BFF’s” so how come when they take pics together they’re far from being as popular?
Well these 2 chaps from London decided to find out for themselves!
They took exactly the same pics together as Patrick Stewart & Ian McKellen minus one minute detail: all of their pics were taken in London as opposed to the originals from New York.
Well lets find out if their hard work paid off!

So what do you think?
As you can see, the only one they couldn’t recreate was the “Elmo Pic”
For all Resident Evil fans, gamers, or even zombie aficionados, Japan just launched a ridiculously cool attraction for you!!
Universal studios Japan decided to give visitors the Resident Evil experience.
Guns, zombies, monsters are just the tip of the iceberg.
Each visitor is equiped with realistic guns with 30 bullets and a fancy uniform to face the zombie world!
Aparently 10 mins after the course is finished, but by george you have the experience of a lifetime.
If you’re still “alive” after the police department, or hospital section, you have to get through all the other zombies looking for the research centre.
Here are a few pics of the place to give you an idea of what you’re missing!
If the pics and the description aren’t enough, here’s a quick video to show you what the park feels like!
Brazil is definately the place to be to party at the moment, even more so during their carnaval!
The only problem is that thhere are lots of people and not enough toilets.
That was until the organisers of AfroReggae came up with the genius idea of making mobile toilets that would transform their pee into…an energy source!
The question you must be all asking yourselves is “but how did they do this?”
Simple, the organisers installed these special toilets in the streets of Rio, which where linked to special dynamos.
When the urine leaked into the pipes, and with a bit of pressure, the new energy source was created!
The energy produced by the machine was used to charge batteries that would power the official festival float and blast loud music to the show.
Needless to say the concept was a huge success, and the same float was able to light up thousands of smiles on the festival goers faces for 3 days straight!
That’s what I call speading the eco message in a fun way!!
Over 2.000 blogs spoke about the marketing op and over 3 million euro worth of tv internet and radio budget was saved.
Enough said, here’s the video for your viewing pleasure:
