Lost footage of Star wars film

Few people know about this, but a few years back, a star wars film was made for TV!!

But don’t get your hopes up too much, this film is nearly only about Ewoks…

The film focuses on the struggles of a brother and sister, stranded on the forest moon of Endor, in locating their parents, who have been kidnapped by a monster known as the Gorax. The film is set sometime between the fifth and sixth episodes of the Star Wars saga. It is the first of two spin-off films featuring the Ewoks from Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi. But for the sake of humanity, and the star wars fans, here you have it!

May the force be with you.

Here’s the trailer, and the full film

So what do you think?

Real-life Wolverine Claws!

With the new X-Men film coming out, more and more fan videos and cosplay pics are popping up on the internet at the moment.

Despite there being a plenty, this one in particular caught my eye, and beleive me, it’s definately worth the watch!

A British plumber with a passion for extreme DIY decided to create the invention that every bullied teen want to have in the playground.

Come to think about it, every employee who’s a fan of X-Men, or just wants an easy way for his co-workers to fear and respect him will want this expensive gadget!

So what did this lad actually build?

Well… a fully functional set of retractable steel claws modeled after the ferocious X-Men Wolverine of course!

Whatch the video below to check it out!!

So, do you beleive me now?

What do you think he will build next? Could you do better? 😉

Resident evil theme park!

For all Resident Evil fans, gamers, or even zombie aficionados, Japan just launched a ridiculously cool attraction for you!!

Universal studios Japan decided to give visitors the Resident Evil experience.

Guns, zombies, monsters are just the tip of the iceberg.

Each visitor is equiped with realistic guns with 30 bullets and a fancy uniform to face the zombie world!

Aparently 10 mins after the course is finished, but by george you have the experience of a lifetime.
If you’re still “alive” after the police department, or hospital section, you have to get through all the other zombies looking for the research centre.

Here are a few pics of the place to give you an idea of what you’re missing!

If the pics and the description aren’t enough, here’s a quick video to show you what the park feels like!

Real life Peter Griffin!

This video had to go viral given the amount of family guy fans out there!

Comic Cons are famous for people dreassing up as their favourite Cosplay (for all you non geeks out there that basically means dressing up as your favourite cartoon character, marvel hero, or any fictional character you can see on a sci-fi show).

At last NY’s last Comic Con, one attendee with the perfect body and voice dressed up like a real life Peter Griffin from the popular Family Guy cartoon.

The video posted by Kirkout01 has only gone viral now, quickly amassing over 150,000 views.

Amazed? I know I am!

Finally, a real homemade lighsaber!

Thousands of “lightsabers” are sold to proud star wars fans every year but they’re all far from being realistic.

Only a true Jedi would be able to create such a product and use the force to control it.

Many have tried, but much like excalibur, most have failed…until now!

Young Youtube user decided to prove to everyone how strong the force was with him by showing off what anyone believed to be “just another pseudo lightsaber”.

For the first time this Youtube user shows off his “homemade lightsaber.” which emits a blue light and includes a metal handle, can torch through paper, tape, ping-pong balls, cardboard and wooden splints, among other items.

I’m guessing he is a true Jedi because his lightsaber is truly amazing!

The funny part about this is that the guy wasn’t even trying to build a lightsaber, he was just preparing a powerfull handheld laser, but even he himself couldn’t deny the facts.

“There really isn’t much else out there to describe this laser.” he states, and I’m pretty much sure that anyone would agree!

So the only question left here is “will he commercialize his new homemade invention?

Google shows us how to use their glasses

As everyone now knows, Google will be launching their new Google Glass soon!

However, if you’re name’s not known all over the world, you probably won’t get a chance to get one of your own for a while.

All good things come to those who wait though, and Google is starting to get the hang of all the marketing they have to do to get as many potential buyers interested and ready to get their checkbooks out!

In their latest marketing op, they decided to release a tutorial showing us how easy is will be to use the Google Glass.

A touch sensitive device that everyone will get the hang of very quickly!

Watch the video to see just how easy it will be.

When the price tag will go down, I’m definately going to buy myself a pair of these!

90 Year old grandma meets Oculus Rift

The technology gap between generations is becoming more and more impressive over the years and this video will clearly not prove me otherwise.

This Youtube user decided to ask his grand mother to test Oculus Rift, a virtual reality headset usually used for video games.

His gradmother seemed to love the product and could’t beleive her eyes when she saw the result.

“Are you sure this isn’t real?” yes grandma, we’re pretty sure, technology is awesome isn’t it? 😉

I wonder what we will be like in a few years when our grandchildren will ask us to test even more impressive technology…

Only time will tell!

Here’s another video I also posted about a Grand Father playing video games

Val Kilmer is Batman!

It’s Batman, yes but who is behind the disguise?

Christian Bale? George Clooney? Cartoon Batman?

No, it’s Val Kilmer!

In this short spoof, Warwick Davis (aka Willow) and Val Kilmer reunite and try to prank Warwick’s secretary.

“I have this act that always works”

Maybe Val, but the act usually works on people who don’t have brains the size of a peanut 😉

The result is only more or less funny, but I decided to post it anyway, just because we get to see Davis and Kilmer back together!

The spoof is part of a mokumentary series planned with Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant “Life’s Too Short.”

Here’s just a glimpse of what is to come!

By the way Val, I think your joke didn’t work on the secretary 😉

London does Star Trek!

Film companies are always looking for more unique ways to promote their new films and the more they dare, the better the effect!

Paramount made no exeption for Star Trek’s new film “Into Darkness” by deciding to promote their film with a marketing technique linked to the theme of the Saga.

All you needed to do to is look up in the sky and wonder about galaxies far away.

Live long and prosper!

Old School Skrillex

A random Youtube user Bd594 decided to make a habit out of making cover videos for pop music songs.

With this video he decided to change a little and go Skrillex style.

Instead of the regular Gotye cover, he decided to go old school on Skrillex.

If you’re into nerd related videos, or just simply interested in what the end resutl gave, this video is for you!

Solar Power burn!

Sun light is an amazing power source and we all remember the fun experiments we had using it in our backyards.

Grant Thompson posted a video showing how he uses solar power in his backyard science experiments.

The video was posted in December, but it has just experienced a viral surge over the weekend.

From a previous experiment, Grant got his hands on a giant older television with a perfect screen to create a dangerously powerful solar lens in his backyard.

The experiment may remind you ‘ant frying with a magnifying lens’ in our backgardens, but this DIY lens can literally melt metal, and instantly cause wood to ignite into flames.

Sex in Video games

Have you ever wondered what Mario gets up to on his free time?

Ever wondered if Lara Croft could get into your bed?

All these questions and more are answered in this short video.

Obviously aimed for gamers, even “Noobs” such as myself are able to appreciate the sense of humour in the video.

Google glasses on a date

With Google’s announcement about their Hi-tech glasses, everyone seems to want a pair.

You will be able to search in real-time everything you need, organise hangouts, find the place you need to go to, and much much more.

But what if you wore these on a date? And what if your date didn’t know what you were wearing?

Would your date be embarassed, shocked, surprised, or would she just be one of those Mac fanatics who couldn’t care less and can’t stop speaking about the new Iwatch prototype?

DartanionLondon tries to answer that question in his short film entitled “How Guys Will Use Google Glass”.

Though I’m a huge fan of Google, I doubt guys would use glasses this way (exept for the watching the game part, that would definately happen).

I can picture it now, any guy with these glasses would be able to accept to go shopping with his girlfriend since he would actually be watching the game! All that would need to be perfected in the glasses would be the pause button!

Anyway, enough digression, let’s get back to the video.

Do you think “DartanionLondon” got it right?

Here’s the original promotional video for the Google glasses

Wonderwoman fanfilm

While all DC Comic fans are waiting for the new Wonder Woman movie to come out, one fan decided that she couldn’t wait anymore!

Jesse V. Johnson made a short film entitled “Female Super Hero” with Nina Bergman as Wonderwoman

It’s not the best of movies, but come to think of it, neither was the original tv show.

What do you think?

Here’s the famous transformation scene for the original tv show :

As an added extra bonus, here are a few pics from the Official Wonderwoman movie

What schools don’t teach

What is “The closest thing we have to a superpower”?

Here’s a hint : We can all learn how to do it and both Facebook and Microsoft have it in common.

If you haven’t found the answer yet, I’ll give it to you at the end of this article.

Don’t get me wrong, schools teach you a lot, and without schools, we would all be working as soon as our arms could carry us.

Few people could read or write, and even less would know about what’s happening on the other side of the world.

But schools also have to adapt to modern times every now and then by adding a few classes to their courses.

The aim of this video isn’t to tell you to stop going to school, it’s aim is to remind us to keep our minds open and continue learning for ourselves on our own free time.

Entrepreneurs going from the creator of Microsoft, Twitter, Facebook or even Dropbox have at least one thing in common : they are experts in coding.

What a lot of people don’t know is that coding isn’t only for engineers, basic coding is easy, and can be compared to learning a new sport or musical instrument.

Even “WILLIAM” admits that coding needs to be taught to more people.

As you may have already guessed, the “superpower” I mentionned at the begining of this article is indeed coding.

With already over 2 million hits in just a few days, let’s watch what the people in this video made by think about it :

So what do you think?

Do you want to learn how to code?

Super Mario Bros 3D

Freddie Wong strikes again!

Have you ever wanted to see MarioWorld through Mario’s eyes? Well, thanks to Freddie Wong (once again), we can.

With almost 2 million hits in only a few days, this is on it’s way to be his most viral video yet.

Back in 2011, Freddie posted a video that reached up to 18.2 million hits with his first person Mario. Now Brandon Laatsh (visual effects) and himself have teamed up once again for the sequel “EndGame”!

Any true gamer will recognise the different scenes in this brief but epic video, and everyone will obviously recognise his arch rival Bowser.

What do you think?

Here is the original version of the video which got over 18 million youtube hits.

And here is another one of his famous videos Video Game High School

All gamers needed one, here he is

What would any gamer need to have more time to play?

You guessed it…THE REPLACEMENT!

The idea is simple, the commercial shows just the guy you need for the job.

“The replacement” replaces you at all the events you don’t want to go to, leaving you more time to enjoy your favourite game Black Ops 2.

Just for a reminder, here is the previous commercial for Black Ops directed by none other than Guy Ritchie

Enjoy the sun

Sun is good for you and makes you more productive  according to a recent study made in Denmark showing the effects of the sun on 2 solar powered dummies.

The same experiment could also have been made in the UK or Ireland.

I’ll let you enjoy the rest.

God bless Danish scientists who have a bit of time on their hands!

Microsoft does it again!

You probably all remember Microsoft’s campaign promoting Internet Explorer with their IE Sucks Less video.

Well, Microsoft have done it again!

Yet again, Microsoft are promoting one of their new products with brio.

In this video, they chose to make us feel nostalgic of the 90’s. Well played my friends, well played.

Waterguns, Tamagotchi’s, Pogos and more allow us to remeniss about our childhood, and make us like Microsoft even more.

Target marketing at its best.

Enjoy the video!

For those of you who didn’t click on the previous link, here’s a reminder of Microsoft’s first video “Do you know this guy” for Internet explorer
