So yeah, Deadpool won pretty much everything there is to win in 2016. Not only was the movie a HUGE success, its promotional campaign was equally as amazing, and maybe, even better than the film itself. So is anyone really surprised that Deadpool’s marketing campaign was nominated for a Cli Key art award?
But what is REALLY surprising (and awesome!) about this is that the character has produced yet another promo clip announcing that he is accepting the nomination.
Hold tight, Star Wars fans: the second official trailer for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is here, and it’s just as epic as we’d hoped it would be.
Following on the first official trailer, the second gives us even more clues to the plot of the upcoming film, this time focussing in on the mysterious figure of Jyn Erso’s father, his involvement in the Death Star and the Rebel’s quest to track him down.
Before his transition to acting, Christopher Walken’s theater training focused on dance. Even though he moved on to be the thespian superstar we know him as, he didn’t leave his roots behind. In most his films, he seems to find a way to work at least a move or two into his role, scripted or not.
And here we have over 50 of these scenes all edited together into the best music video you’ll see today…
Cyclists are sometimes difficult to spot, but there’s no way you’ll be able to miss somebody wearing one of these bike helmets. After all, how many human LEGO figures do you see on the roads every day? We’re guessing not many.
The awesome design was the brainchild of Simon Higby and Clara Prior, two employees from the Stockholm and Copenhagen offices of worldwide advertising agency DDB. Given that 44% of children surveyed don’t wear a helmet while riding a bike, they wanted to come up with a design that kids would want to wear without being forced. The project was part of Higby’s MBA thesis and the pair enlisted the help of Danish design company MOEF who created the prototype for them last year. Watch the video below to see just how they made it. Sadly it’s not actually a thing yet, but we’re crossing our fingers that it will be soon.
Bored Panda tried it on a real rugby player in PS, and it looks useful! (don’t think Harlequins will like it though 😉
Here’s the full video showing how the helmet it made :
